Coeliac Disease is associated with many symptoms, such as bloating, diarrhoea, nausea, gas, and stomach pain. This Coeliac at-home test gives a fast indication of the presence of anti-deamidated gliadin (anti-DGP) antibodies which are produced by people who are affected by Coeliac Disease.

Discovering the presence of IgA and IgG antibodies against deamidated gliadin peptides (anti-DGP) helps to provide diagnosis to support changing your diet or taking supplements as part of your health regime. Early diagnosis can reduce the progression of intestinal damage and prevent more serious complications.

This test uses a small blood sample in a compact testing kit mailed directly to you.

The easy-to-use CE-approved testing kit is mailed immediately on purchase and should reach you within 1-3 working days.

In the box, there will be full instructions provided on how to complete the sample and testing process in 10 minutes.

Coeliac disease is an autoimmune disease that causes chronic inflammation of the small intestine. Disease symptoms include diarrhoea, weight loss, abdominal pain and bloating, malnutrition and skin reactions. This inflammation is caused by gliadin, the protein component of gluten, contained in wheat, barley, rye, spelt and many other cereals. Recent studies have shown that subjects affected by coeliac disease produce specific antibodies (class IgA and IgG) against deamidated gliadin peptides (anti-DGP). These antibodies have high specificity and sensitivity in coeliac disease, which permits very accurate diagnosis. Early diagnosis can reduce the progression of intestinal damage and prevent more serious complications.

The Coeliac Self Test is a rapid immunochromatographic test to reveal the presence of class IgA and IgG anti-DGP antibodies in whole blood for coeliac disease screening.
